‘Account is suspended’
You might be here because: “Account is suspended” · “can’t sign in, says suspended” · “403 forbidden on sign in” · “my account got blocked” · “why was I suspended”
Short answer
Sign-in is refused with “Account is suspended.” (HTTP 403) when the account has been suspended or has been closed: the same words are shown for any account that is not active, a closed trial account included. Suspending and restoring an account is not something you can do from the dashboard; only a person can review and restore it. Contact support from the account’s email address.
Check first
- Is the message exactly “Account is suspended”? A wrong password, an unverified email, or a paused two-factor sign-in each say something else — see Related.
- Are you signing in to the right account (a different email may be fine)?
Likely causes and fixes
- Suspended account. No self-serve fix exists. Email support from the account’s address, say when you last signed in successfully and what you were doing. A person reviews it; the AI cannot see why an account was suspended or lift it.
- Closed account. An account that was closed, for example a trial account closed after the warning email because no plan was chosen, is refused with the same words. Email support from the account’s address; a person can tell you what can still be done.
- Teammate of a suspended owner. Sessions on the owner’s workspace are refused while the owner is suspended or deleted. Ask the owner to contact support.
- Billing is not suspension. A failed payment does not suspend the account: sessions and AI stop until the payment goes through (or, once the last retry has failed, until you choose a plan again), sign-in keeps working, and Billing shows a “past due” badge. See Payment failed.
If it still fails
Press Talk to a person in this chat (or open Help) and include: account email, the exact message, date/time, and whether you are the owner or a teammate. Reasons and restoration are handled by a person and may involve the Acceptable Use Policy; the AI will not speculate about the cause.
